I need Crock Recipes for like 12 hours.

I leave the house at about 6:30 in the morning. The earliest I would get home is about 4 or so. Does anyone know of any recipes that are for that long? Most I see are for 4-6 hours which I miss that by about 3 hours at least.

Most anything that can be done on low will be fine if left that long. Anything that is high for 4-6 could be done on low instead.

I usually put the slow cooker on low for over 12 hours - as I am out that long in a day ... :) x

I have a crockpot that you can set for 4-6 hours, and after that it warms rather than cooks. That's my favorite feature.

I think whatever you cook for 4-6 hours on high can go 8-10 on low, but I could be wrong.

Usually the 4-6 hour time is for the high setting. You should be fine setting your crockpot on low, which would change the cooking time to 8-12 hours.

I've put a frozen roast in the crockpot before and let it cook all night and had it for lunch the next day. Don't need to add much water... maybe some kinda sauce, salt/pepper and YUM!
