So Iknow this probably sounds weird but i need to get it out there. When we saw the GI specialist and he ordered test, I was anxious about the blood test and stool test- stool test ended up reveling lactose intolerance. Neuro had ordered blood, urine and MRI. Oddly enough I was never anxious about the blood and the MRI but have been very anxious about the urine one. Well some how the first urnine test didn't get done (no clue what i happened the lab didn't have any answers for me) so now I've dropped off the second sample on Monday and am still waiting (impatiently) for the results and my anxiety is growing. I think part of my problem is that I can't prepare myself for "worse case scenario" of what the urine test will show (evidently you can learn a lot about someone just from there urine-not just infection and pregnancy who knew).

Anyways, I really just needed to let it out.

On the positive side baby girls has gained almost another pound in 6 weeks.

while i'm talking about her, how many actually words should a 15 month old have? She babbles but actual words are limited to say the least.

It varies a lot... my 21 month old doesn't have very many...

Well I talked to a person at the hospital lab yesterday (just to make sur this one wasn't cancelled) and she said it will be at least next Monday before the results are back because it was a send out test.

no definate answers from this test so we are doing another urine test (not sure if it's the same one or a different one). Also she's being referred for evulation for developmental delays that involve more than just speech.

Does anyone remember (and I know that Julie has a baby not much older than mine) when you baby started pointing to body parts when you said them or going and getting something when told?

That's varied for mine...

My littlest will be two at the end of May, and she's been doing both for several months... maybe started around a year? :dunno:

Leah is 18 months and she has been doing those things since about 16 months.
