That was rough.

Thankfully I've never experienced anything like that.

Then you didn't get out often enough when you had only really little ones. I think I've heard almost ALL of it.

A nurse told me when DD2 was born that I had the perfect family (2 boys, 2 girls) and was now done.

:thud:

I had one ask me after I had a baby in May, and then the following April if I was going to be back the next March. I told her "Probably not"... I skipped the next March, and made in the March after.

Still... medical professionals haven't ever really given me any grief. In fact, I was leaving with the kids from the doctor's office once, Dh had actually come b/c DD1 had that 105+ fever for 5 days and they were drawing blood. Anyway, another doctor walked by and there stood the 6 of us... and he said, "You're the perfect picture for our practice." And I said, "What? Obstetrics?" :biglaugh: He chuckled and said, "No, Family Medicine." :biglaugh:

I think I met the lady in blue the last time I was pregnant.

When I was pregnant with #4, one of the on call obs asked if I wanted anymore. I said I might like a couple more if I could convince my dh. She then asked if I wanted a pysch consult.

One of the teachers where I was a long-term sub last year was on bed rest for many, many months. It was her fourth. I asked if anyone knew if would be her last as it was her 2nd pregnancy in a row she was having complications. Someone replied, "I should certainly hope so! She has 4 kids now!" :thud:

I didn't watch the video as they take forever to load for me. But I hate how everyone and their brother thinks its okay to comment on family size and consider 4 kids to be a big family. Even DH thinks that. I wanted 4-5 kids, DH wants 3. So we're having 3 (unless they are all the same gender then I have him convinced that we will try one more time).
