I teach Sunday School, and I think of times when I have been teaching and you just tell by the questions kids ask that they are actually getting it. I hate sitting around the table with a group of kids that are quiet and don't participate. When kids ask questions, I know that they are actually understanding what I am teaching. Nothing makes me happier than knowing a child has developed a relationship with Jesus.

Seeing all the kids....and that they really like being at the church. I love that they are having fun and learning. Today I had not only my Sunday school class but a few others saying the bible verse for the month.
It was really neat to see :)

Awana!
I am a leader for 1 special needs boy. To see him grow in the Lord from year to year has blessed me tremendously!
(When I'm not busy with him I listen to the other kids verses) :o)

I'm on the mission field right now, and my biggest joy is to see lives tangibly touched by Jesus Christ. It's the joy of meeting people all over the U.S. come down and discover how blessed yet spoiled they are, and then go home and impact their community for God. My greatest joy is sharing the heart of the Father with others!

singing praises to God. There is just something so cute about a children's choir.

We have the best praise team.... we get together for practice and five songs take two hours... because we enjoy each other. We enjoy trying new things with old favorites and we just love to chat. It's the fellowship that I enjoy the most.

Doing something I love so much and giving it back to the Lord! I love that people are blessed by it, whether I'm playing my flute, providing a meal or encouragement to someone in need. It is a blessing to me, too!

Seeing people come to know and love Christ. People that might otherwise not get the chance to know HIM.

Seeing people "get it" is exciting.
We teach SS and we're digging into spiritual warfare.
Just yesterday we talked about how Satan uses obstacles to keep us from moving forward in our relationship with Jesus. One of the ladies spoke of how the latest schedule change has railroaded her right out of the prayer group :tantrum: but it hadn't occurred to her to consider Satan's thoughts on that.

Seeing how God equips me when He calls me to something. Seeing how He provides so beautifully even when *I* feel so inadequate. Seeing the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those He has placed in my path.

I love, love, love to see people set free. The light of the Holy Spirit dawns on them & you can see it, really see it in their faces. The shame, the blame, the pain melts away & God's grace overtakes them. Beautimus!
Like the time a guy who used to be nicnamed Mad Brad danced (pig poop flying off his boots in all directions ) on our front porch b/c he finally realized that no matter what happens or doesn't happen in his life God cares for him & will take care of him. Btw, everyone calls him Glad Brad now. :)
Or, like the time Cathy realized that God is not a "kind taskmaster" (her words) who is critically watching her every move so as to punish her every time she blows it, but a loving Father who is compassionate & passionate toward her. She sat back in the chair, all the usual tension slipping from her body, her face softened then lit up, then the tears of gratitude began to roll.
Or... well, you get the idea. I get all jumpy & excited just thinking about it!

At our old church I worked with the welcome ministry. I adored it! Getting to welcome new faces, and getting to know everyone. I just loved it- am hoping to work with it at our new church!
