Go to this link and type in the first name of the child and the age (in years...you can do half years I believe). Answer as brutally honest as you can. If the total score is 50 to 100 points, you may want to talk to your doctor b/c your child may be in the high end of the spectrum or at least have some sensory issues going on that need to be addressed. If it's 100 to 150 points then definitely ask for a diagnostic screening b/c your child may may have Autism or at least be in the spectrum. If it's over 150 points then the odds of your child having full Autism (or similar issue) is very high.

This test is not a diagnosis but just a tool to use to determine if further tests by your doctor should be requested. This test is pretty close to the tests given during diagnostic screenings but those are more in depth. It all depends on how honest you are and really really think about your answers. If it's a "Kinda but not really" then it's a definite no and you should answer as such. Go with your first feeling of what the response should be and that is probably the most accurate. If you think too much about it then you may skew the answers a bit. KWIM?

I did this test for Devin about a year ago. He scored a 129. After a year of 4 different therapies he is now at 109. I think 20 points is a good achievement after only a year!

I hope this test may help some of you.

Wow- thanks! That was informative. He scored a 15. I think hearing issues may be a better way to start.

Good idea. That is actually one of the first tests my DS had to make sure there were no hearing issues going on...which there weren't. I bet that score eases your mind a bit!

Thank you!

I did my best to remember Caleb a year ago, and he scored around 135.

Today's score is 121. His language has skyrocketed in the past year. :)

What a great jump up! I use this to gauge Devin's progress all the time. It reminds me on even the hardest days of his issues just how far he has come.
