Good to "see" you again. I've been peeking in the board here and there but never get the nerve to post--feeling shy with so many new people here.

The new board is lovely. So many new things to check out.

Pretty much the same ole stuff going on here. The most current news is that we just today put an offer on 20 acres.

We do need to catch up. Is there an "ezinbox"-type option with this board?

Hello (waving)
What is letterboxing?

I'll explain it simply then you can investigate more on the two websites listed below if you want to read more...

Letterboxing is a sort of treasure hunt. A letterbox is a box (or some kind of container) that contains a logbook and a stamp (usually hand-carved.) You find clues on the internet (mostly on the below two websites) and follow the directions to the letterbox. Once you find it you stamp into the letterboxes logbook and then stamp the letterboxes stamp into you personal logbook. It is very important to be stealthy so no one else sees you do this. It is also very important to rehide the box well.

I have planted 5 letterboxes so far, one of which has gone missing. We have found about 20. Not all in my family are very enthusiastic so I usually have to beg or bribe to go.

The two websites are http://www.atlasquest.com and http://www.letterboxing.org.
