i am needing some encouragment to get back into it. i had a baby 4 weeks ago today and i am pretty far behind. i have more stuff than i know what to do with and now cm has all this cool stuff for digital. have you done any of the digital books?
don't worry i am not a consultant. i know several and have certainly helped them make some money though:giggle:
what kind of christmas projects are you doing?

I scrapbook. I made a little book for my aunt for Christmas this year using pictures from last Christmas at her house. I've also made a book for my sil w/ pictures of my girls holding the dolls w/ ALL the outfits that she made them. I have done vacation albums. Never did individual ones of my girls. Way too many pictures!

I have so many things going on right now.
I have made my Christmas cards and plan on making the baby announcements.
I do a yearly scrapbook with pictures of our activities for the whole family. 2004 took two scrapbooks.
I want to start a scrapbook for each child that is full of their portraits because I am running out of room on my walls.
I have also done one school scrapbook with activities, projects, field trips, etc that we did that year. It isn't finished and I would like to do more for each year.
Now, my friend and I are talking about making premade pages and cards and selling them at craft shows this next year. The ones we have seen many that were all that impressive and sold for more than we thought we would charge.

I have a lot of albums done, but I'm really far behind to tell you the truth! For Christmas I'm going to do 2 calenders. My mom loves it. The other will be for the ministry we work with.
I haven't done any of the digital scrapbooking. I kinda find it therapeutic to sit down with all my stuff and cut and tear pages.:)
The best way to get back into is to just do it. The inspiration will come. All babies give great inspiration! Wouldn't be fun if we could all get together and scrap for a weekend???

a scrapbooking cruise. It would be great!
I met another football mom this season that missed one of our games because she said she never misses a scrapbook retreat at her favorite store close to us.
I would love to have the guts to miss one of my son's games just to scrapbook.
I already have to work around my dh's schedule of overnight at his grandma's to work out when I can go scrapbooking.

Sign me up for the cruise! I would so do that! I don't know if I would get anything done, but I would go!
I don't know that I would miss a game either, but wow, the temptation...it's not that bad, but if given the chance I'm there!!

I love to scrapbook. It is a way I can be artistic w/ limited fine motor coordination :giggle: I could never draw or paint!
Currently I am making books of dd for Christmas for the gma's; 1 done, 1 to go, + a small book for my g-parents in Canada (almost done)
I am a little behind on our photos too. I have up to 7/06 done. Then I have a glitch. We got our Foster sons then and I have tons of pictures We thought we would get to adopt them. But They left us in March. I am thinking of doing a separate small book just of them and then put just special occasion like harvest thanksgiving and Christmas in ours. Then start a new book For 2007 (No special occ w/ the boys In it.)
I also need to start a book of dd. Now the trick is to sort out what pics go in the Family book and what pics go in The dd book. The dd book is going to be ours to keep. I already have another one started for her to take one day.
It is getting hard to keep it all straight:
-Our family book to finish
-Our new family book to start as of 2007
-2 Gma Holly books (which I will cont to update as neither of them do anything w/ their pictures) good mothers day gift and Christmas gifts!
-Our Holly book
-Holly's Holly book
-A Boys book (may just store these pics away and do this at a much later time)
Right now the guest room is scrapbooking central! I wish I could just leave it set up yr round, but I don't think dh would go for it!

I find the best time to scrapbook is in the van on long trips. The kids are strapped in and I have nothing else to do :)

MY husband doesn't KNOW how many thousands of dollars of stuff I have!:giggle:
And he'd better not find out!:thud:
I'm half-kidding....he wouldn't care, but he would be surprised! And I don't spend 1/10 of what most people do!

I scrapbook... but I'm so far behind it's ridiculous!! :p
To be honest, I haven't really done much since my 2nd dd was born. And she will be 3 in April! Yikes! So now I have 2 kids to catch up nearly 3 years on... I think I'd better find some inspiration. And soon!
I used to love it. I would scrap after dd1 went to bed, and I could scrap during dd2's naptime... but now I babysit 2 kids during the day, and I get up at 6 am... so it's much more difficult these days to find time for me to do anything I want to do alone.

i love to do it, and i used to do it regularly...however since last summer i have not done it b/c of time limitations. i also have so much stuff that once i put it "away" in the upstairs closet, it is hard to motivate myself to get it all back out again! i really love it, and would like to get some friends over to my house to do it.
i do creative memories.

I do here. I need to get back on it though. I need more stuff. LOL Stickers and things to decorate my pages. I also need to buy a nice cutter.
