Two thumbs up, as always for her books. Excellent book about love, forgiveness and the place Christ has in our lives.

 I have read this one too, it was great. The only book so far that I really haven't been able to get into of hers is The Last Sin Eater. It was really hard to keep going.

One more voice chiming in to say "excellent book!"

The Mark of the Lion series is my favorite of hers, though!!!

I love her stuff, especially Lineage of Grace. But I did NOT like the one about Hosea and Gomer. What is the name of that book :gaah: I'm losing my mind. Was it Redeeming Love?

Seriously? Redeeming Love is my favorite book ever - other than the Bible, it's #2. It's the only fiction book I've ever read that I would call life-changing. Not meaning to make a big deal about it - but I think you're the first person I ever heard of that said they *really* didn't like it.

I enjoyed it, but I do have to say that I could understand why someone wouldn't. It's quite graphic, and deals with a very hard topic to read about/discuss.

My SIL said the same thing about The last sin eater. But I loved it. Of course it might help that 1. we recently had a vacation to smokey mountain national park, 2. I read it mostly while breastfeeding in the middle of the night, lots of concentrationa and just the right "creepy" feel for the mystery of the book.
