Hi everyone! I just had a whole long intro typed and I wasn't logged in, so I lost it. Here I go again.:)

I am new here after lurking on the old board for about a year or so. I thought about posting there, but had a problem with signing up for EZ board. Whenever I visited, I enjoyed reading your posts and how you all seemed like a real community. I do post on other boards, mostly homeschooling ones.

I had copy and pasted the suggested intro questions in my other post that I lost, and rather than going through all that again, I will just tell you a little about myself.

I live in FL. My dh and I have been married for almost 19 years and have an 8 year old dd. I have homeschooled her from the beginning, and it is a great lifestyle, and a joy. It is also a commitment that brings a lot of work. It is worth it all, though.

My hobbies are reading, mostly nonfiction. I read a lot of homeschool related books and magazines and enjoy looking at curriculum catalogs. (Yes, really;))

I trusted Christ as Savior when I was a child, but did not live a Christian life as a teen or adult. When the Lord gave us a child, it turned our lives around in many ways, which included me turning back to God. My dh also became a Christian and trusted Christ as Savior. We attend church regularly and try to raise our dd as we believe the Lord leads us. Of course, we mess up a lot, but depend on His grace daily.

Anyway, I don't recall what the other questions were, but I guess you can ask if you want to know something else. :)

I look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome ladyjaye! :D I am so glad you have come out of lurkdom and joined us here on our new board. Looking forward to getting to know you better. I am a SAHM of 4 kiddo's, ds - 11, dd - 9, dd - 6, dd - 5. I have been married to my dh for almost 16 years. I did homeschool the older 2 for a couple of years, but it got to be to much for me. I really admire you homeschoolers!

Enjoy the board! :)
