There are 3 display modes to choose from when viewing threads/posts with vbulletin (the new board). You will see "Display Modes" near the right hand side of your screen. Click here to change among the modes.
If you are in the linear mode, you will see each post stacked one on top of each other. Most threads will have several pages due to their length. If you are looking for a specific recipe, you will have to skim through the entire thread til you find the one you want.
If you are in the hybrid mode, you will see a box with the thread titles listed closer to the top of the screen (maybe middle). Below it will be the complete posts, stacked on top of each other. Using the top box with the thread titles may be an easier way for you to find the specific recipe you want. Click inside the top box on the post title you want in order to go directly to that recipe.
If you are in the threaded mode, you will see a box with the thread titles listed closer to the top of the screen. Below it will be only the first post in the thread. You will see options to click on previous or next which will take you one post at a time through the entire thread. Again, in this mode, you can skim through the top box to find a specific recipe and then click on it to take you directly there.
A further comment: Right now I wanted to find the recipe for Sheri's meat and potato casserole. First I searched the forum for "meat potato casserole." That brought up threads that contained those words, one of which was the where's the beef thread. Then, when I got to that thread, since there are so many recipes, I didn't want to skim through them all, so I searched that thread for meat potato casserole, and it took me right to it. Hope this helps!
