I LOVE this product! The loops that come with it REALLY match, the book gives EXCELLENT instructions as to how to make the project too! VERY easy for a 9 yo to accomplish and creates perseverance in character. You get a cute potholder or purse or beanbag at the end too! VERY cool product!

We have this book as well:

This is more challenging, my kids haven't tried this without dh or myself. I would say age 10+ would be good for this. You need to be SOOO exact with folding paper. BUT, its sooo fun to make these! I would give this a thumbs up.

My DS LOVED the paper airplane book. It comes with a lot of cool paper too, which is a bonus.
I've given some of the craft kits for gifts.

THis went with us to Italy, and is a FABULOUS fun activity book. I got them for my nephews too and they loved them! Great Sunday Night "church" books as well! Still going strong on the activities as well! FUN FUN FUN!

I have bought several of their books. They are just too cool to pass up. The kids love them and they come with all the stuff needed to do the crafts. Our Cracker Barrel carries them. When we eat there I check them out.

My SIL got DS one called "Paper Twirling" which is an old craft called quilling.
He is not ready for it yet, we tried and he couldn't do the fine motor part. He's 8. I think perhaps a girl might be better at this one.

We have the Tying Knots one. Very helpful. It has holes on the page so you can anchor the strings (included) to practice the knots.
We have a Marble games one too.
We had a Make things from Pipecleaners one.
Great entertainment!

Thanks for reminding about the Klutz books! I used to buy them for my older girls. I can't believe I've forgotten about them. My 10 yo DD would love some of them, and even my 4 yo would get into some for boys.
