that making conscious & prayerful effort to focus on memorizing Scripture has anything to do w/ the fact that this year I've memorized John 14:1-6, Hebrews 4:14-16 & 5:6-10 & John 1:1-just about 14 (need to polish up the last couple of verses)? :biglaugh:
My goal is to have memorized by July 1: All of the above & Jn. 3:5-21, 4:21-24, I Thess. 4:13-5:11, Eph. 1 & 3:13-21. I also hope to add Psalms 2, 19, 22 & 66 by the end of September.
Do you reckon that making conscious & prayerful effort to focus on organizing the "dreaded drawer" has anything to do with the fact that it is *finally* organized? Wooooohooooo! TGBTG!
I'm now ready to start the process, w/ God's help & guidance, of compiling. That is making full studies from the bits & pieces I've notes I've taken now & then & the other time. Your continued prayer support is muuuuuchly appreciated!
As for spending 3x a day focused on the Lord.... I'm still not getting 3x a day every day. :\ I'm making it to the appointments, but I'm not spending as much time or not giving myself wholly during the time as I should. This should be the easiest thing in the world to do. I feel bad about it, but am confident the Lord will train me into it. Thanks a mill, God.
