Ladies, if you haven't heard of this book, check it out. It is a fictional Columbine situation only the killer is caught before he can kill himself and it takes your through the trial. It will tear at your heart and you bring you through every emotion in the book. Jodi Piccoult is the author, she has others out ther, I finished My Sister's Keeper not too long ago, I cried in that one and I don't do that very often. Thought I would give you all the tip in case you have some free time. :D

I've read it and it is a very good book--heart-wrenching though. It was nice to get insight into the parents of the victims and the shooter.

It was so poignant and I really felt for that boy and his family. The story of how he got his lunchbox thrown out the bus window was really so sad. I like most of her books. I think it's great for everyone to read who deal with adolescents, we all think it'll never be our kids, but I'm guessing there is a lot of truth to her writing.

I agree. We seldom hear the side of the accused--though it doesn't excuse his actions, it does help to explain it. Very sad.
