Has anyone been to American Girl New York?

I really would like to take my 11 year old DD to American Girl New York this summer. What should we do there? Is it worth eating in the Cafe? Should we do their theater show? If you have been, I would love to have some input. Thanks, Kelly:D

Not New York's, just Chicago's.

We decided against eating there because it was pricey and ate on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building instead. We mostly go to shop. :D

And we ate in the cafe. It was really fun and my girls had a ball!!! (So did I and the 2 grandmas. ;))

We didn't get to see the show. We were there when there wasn't a performance.

We're headed back in a few weeks. I think it will be a shopping trip only b/c we're going in the morning. I'd love to do the cafe again, but we'd have to do brunch and it seems silly to pay that much for brunch when our hotel has a free breakfast buffet included w/ our stay.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much!
