Hi everyone. . . I'm sunshine (that's an English translation of my given first name- not just a cutesy forum name)
I live in south central IL -- am married to my hubby for 26 1/2 years (getting close to 27 years) We have 3 kids, 2 kid in laws, one new grandbaby (she's 3 weeks old, and I've yet to meet her, they live over 1600 miles away).
I'm a full time RN in critical care of a large teaching hospital. We live on a small farm and love being close to nature, growing our own food, etc.
Dh has ALS, but praise God - he's outlived his prognosis. We are reminded daily of the gift of life we've all been given.
I found this site in a rather round about way. I went to a yard sale last week, and picked up a huge bag of devotional magazines (Hearts at Home) from 2006 and before. Then is did a web search to see if the magazine was still in circulation - and well, here I am!
