I'm almost ready to sell my wares at a summer festival. As I have never done this before...those of you who have, will you please share your advice? I appreciate it!!

People like it a lot more if the price they see is the price they pay.
Have your space organized, by type, colour, whatever.
Be ready for a LOT of stupid questions and outrageous requests, lol.
Be prepared ahead of time for people to ask if they can right a cheque etc...know your answer, rather than stumbling.
Have a LOT of change on hand.....the first or second customer is likely to hand you a $50 bill...and then what? No change left.
Tuck larger bills away as they accumulate....into a box under your bags or somewhere people would be unlikely to look....that way if someone grabs your cashbox and runs, you're not wiped out. We've never had it happen to us, but it HAS happened....

in her post.
I have only done only a couple of fairs. I had my dd with me, She was 13 at the time. It allowed for some flexibility (potty breaks, looking at the other booths, etc)
I posted my prices in a pretty picture frame so that people would at least look if they were too shy to ask.
I used a large solid color tablecloth and threw curled ribbons on the table among my wares for a festive look.
Pad of paper and pens - for notes for you or for shoppers.
Business cards - easy and cheap to do on your own computer - so they can find you for repeat business.
