~dried herbs from your herb garden
Glass food jars
-these are great for bath salts, food mixes, coffee and drink mixes, recipes in a jar, and much more.
Foam food trays
-these are wonderful for painting projects, or cutting out for magnets and ornaments
Clementine wooden boxes
-these made nice baskets for food gifts or for storing your craft items
Empty peanut or nut canisters
-wash these out and use for food gifts or for a unique box for wrapping
Cardboard toilet paper tubes
-these make ornaments and classroom treats containers such as these
*Red Nosed Reindee Favors
*Toilet Paper Tube Drum Ornament
Empty soup cans
-use these for pencil holders, flower vases, gift wrapping, classroom treat containers and more.
Empty film canisters
Clear ones, with a key ring attached, and red tape in a cross, make tiny, totable first aid kids. Black canisters can be used to make Oscar the Grouch tree ornaments (open the container, top with a large green pom pom, add googly eyes, and glue the lid slighty tilted to the top, and add your hanger).
Pringles Cans
Pine Cones
Using an old muffin pan, parafin wax and candle wick, you can create wonderful fire starters for Christmas gifts.
With a little glue, different colors of glitter, and some yarn or leftover string, these make beautiful tree ornaments
