I'm debating on what weight of yarn and what kind of stitch to do on which color of loom!! Clear as mud I know.

I started a potholder on the blue loom using the rib stitch with the red heart line of yarn. 4 is the number on what weight it is. I lost some length and it's not as wide as I wanted, so I gotta start over.

I think I'm stuck with doing the rib stitch so they come out tight enough. (pulling one double strand over two double strands) and I dont really want to do it that way!! Wah.

Do enlighten me with any suggestions you have! I know I could use knitting needles but a majority of the time I prefer the looms.

NO! I hate that thing! I couldn't figure it out and I really don't want to. I just learned to knit the old fashioned way. Lovin' that!

Good luck with yours. :bighug:

I'm a knitter but have never used a loom. I too, knit the old fashioned way, and I LOVE IT!

I have the looms. They're making me  Someone on another board told me not to use the instructions from the Knifty Knitters - to find just a loom instruction site. I have one bookmarked I can find it if you like. I need to sit down and take my time to learn.

It's frustrating when your 10 yo can knit and you have to sit there with a loom. :biglaugh:

Hey! When I did try it, I used Lion Brand's Homespun yarn. It works pretty good.

Also, I've been told that you can find instruction videos on YouTube.
