I just attended a conference where she spoke. Her son, Pace is autistic and she is a very strong advocate and a dynamic speaker.
She has 2 books out currently,
"Beyond Words: The Successful Inclusion of a Child with Autism" based on her experience with mainstreaming Pace. It is written with his teacher and Dr.
"1 2 3 Get Ready!" Which has ways to help get an autistic child ready for school.
