Can you summarize for those of us that have a harder time viewing video?

I really enjoyed that video. I really liked what Sarah Palin had to say, although I was focusing so much on her cute baby that it was difficult to concentrate on her words. Trig is an adorable little distraction. :)
Julie, Sarah Palin was talking about all the high hopes that they have for Trig, just like they have for their other children. That she went through all the emotions when she found out they were having a child with Down's Syndrome. She said that every parent wants their baby to be perfect, and that's what they got! I love that she thinks that Trig is perfect the way he is. She's right! He's so adorable and smiles really big and claps his hands. He's a sweet, adorable baby in every way!
She went on to talk about how much her family loves the outdoors and competing in sports, and that they expect the same for Trig. She said they're looking forward to carpools to games and practices and cheering him on, just like they've experienced with their other kids.
It was very moving and very inspirational.

But how did that figure in with the Special Olympics. And was it in rebuttal to the Obama thing you were discussing on another thread?

It was Governor Palin's Address To The 2009 Special Olympics In Boise, Idaho
It was not in response to Obama... it was before that.

Yeah, what Susan said. Like I said in my post I was a bit distracted by cute little Baby Trig. I didn't hear a lot of what she said about the Special Olympics.

All of what others have noted about was that she said basically referred to the fact that the Special Olympics will offer Trig the opprotunity to be in sports just like their other kids have had a chance to be in sports. Therefore they will be able to go cheer him on or pat him on the back after a defeat just like their other kids thanks to the Special Olympics.
