HELP! How do you organize a ton of beads?

From teeny tiny seed beads, to jewelry beads, wooden beads, to pony beads? I just kept adding containers, and now I have a big mess. When I moved I just put the containers in boxes and didn't go through them (big mistake). I have seed beads in jars, bags etc. What is the best way to store all of them in one area so I know what I have all the time? I had the jewelry beads (glass etc) in a flat plastic holder (hard to explain), that had 4 plastic containers that slide in from the sides.

I also bought something from the hardward dept. that is orange and has a handle. 4 plastic compartment containers slide into that. I have eye balls in all sizes in one, silk flower (tiny) stuff in another, Christmas bells in all sizes in a third etc.

I have made a mess of my beads. Any ideas? Cheap?

I bought boxes from the dollar store that look like fishing tackle box inserts. Those clear plastic ones with dividers. It's working well for my girls, but I'm not sure how well it would work with as many asyou have?

I'm going to look around at the hardware stores this week. I may end up buying the stack-on 39 plastic drawer bin (or one with more drawers). I'm not kidding when I say I have a ton. My dad gave me a bunch and I just haven't made enough crafts with beads.

I was going to say one of the hardware store things with all the bins. I have used those when I had lots of little pieces and they really seemed to work well. Also, it stays in one place and everything is self contained.
