Well I finally made it. I changed my name from pacindy b/c we will be moving from pa to sc sometime and I dodn't want to change it then. I once received an email about G.R.I.T.S. - Girls Raised In The South. I was born and raised in FL, I'm heading back down South and grits have always been a favorite of both my kids so that's the name I picked. Hope everyone can get used to it and if not, just deal with it :D

When is the big move? I'm sure Chantell is going to miss you (I think you live close to each other, right?)

You didn't miss it, this may have been the first time I actually typed it out. We put our house on the market last Friday and once it sells we're moving to SC. Dh is putting out resumes now and when he gets a job he will go then and my mom and I will stay here w/the kids until the house sells. There is so much to do!

Well our timeline may not necessarily be God's, kwim? But, ideally it would be nice if the house sold quickly (to us that would mean sometime in August), b/c dh has a break in school the first ten days of Sept. so doing a physical move then would be great. I believe they start elementary school in early to mid August in SC, so ds would be coming in a little late, but I know he will be able to keep up. School here starts the last week of August.

Yes, Chantell and her dh has said they will miss us, but they totally understand our reasons for wanting to go south. I told them we're just making another spot for them to vacation! Our church family is great and I know they will help us out in any way they can.
