Could you help me with some nutritional supplements for S?

I *think* I remember once you mentioning some information on adding Omega 3 (?) to C's diet and other info you found.

I am working on getting a lot of things out of S's diet and adding some others in.

I googled but am not coming up with much.

Omega 3 "calm" formula... it's put out by Jamieson. We'd give one capsule a day. Omega 3 is excellent for promoting brain growth.
I've also read that doses of magnesium and B vitamins help to reduce some autistic tendencies. :dunno: We tried them, but didn't find that they made any difference for Caleb.

I should have thanked you sooner dear.

He doesn't do pills at all.

But in searching, I have read a couple of studies that are promoting natural or organic milk as being higher in Omega 3s and protein than regular milk. I switched him just for the benefit of it. I don't expect any huge change but figure it won't hurt.

Does he eat eggs? Eggland's Best Eggs have higher doses of Omega 3's.
There are also some cereals with Omega 3's that are made by Kashi.
Fish is good for Omega's if he'll eat it.
And there's a butter spread made by Spectrum - Spectrum Essentials Omega-3 Spread, that has extra Omega in it. I used to get it at Kroger's in Houston. You might check HEB in T. Or if you drive into Houston ever, I know they carry it at Central Market and probably at Whole Foods too, both on Westheimer.

If he'll let you add things to his drinks (maybe in a smoothie), flaxseed oil is a good source too. I tried just plain flaxseeds and then found out that unless you grind them up, they pass through your system undigested. So it does you no good that way. I need to get some flaxseed oil and try it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. The site above has a flaxseed oil too, and you can search their recipes for how to use it in foods.
