I'm wanting to make several sock monkeys, but don't want to spend a fortune on the socks. I have only found them on e-bay. Anyone know where I can get them cheaper?:dunno:

Have you tried Wal Mart in the mens section?
That's the only place that is coming to mind.
I did google sock monkey supplies and found:

The red heeled ones are $9.50 for 2 pairs. :dunno:

Another place $7.99 - 8.99
OOOhhhh! You can make sock elephants too! http://lennytaylor.freeyellow.com/elephant.htm
 Found that while I was looking.
I've learned that they are Rockford Red Heel Socks - if that helps you any. Who knew they originated from Rockford, IL. :dunno:
I've learned wayyyy too much about sock monkeys for one day. :giggle:

You are so sweet to spend the time for me. I did just find them at Fleet Farm this morning for $6.49 for two pairs...probably the best deal I will find.
Thanks for your help

That is a great price!
I do love Farm & Fleet! (When I get a chance to drive out to one - it's quite a ways for me).
