Thanks everyone again! Yes, Bronte73 we will have to compare notes. That is great that you will be substituting too. Will you be at the elementary, middle, or high school level? I am only doing the elementary. I was hoping someone on here might have some tips and advice or a bag of tricks for me.

Anyway, I will be attending a mandatory training class tomorrow all day so I guess that is supposed to help me prepare some of what to expect.

How wonderful for you! It sounds like your new job as substitute teacher will be a perfect fit for you and your family. I am praying that you will be a blessing to your future students and vice versa.

Thank you Linda for the congrats. And to answer cshoremom's question..yes I will be close to home...about 10 minutes from home and I will be substituting where my son begins Kindergarten this year. So, that gives me some comfort too.
