i have been very active this week in making a quilt top for a baby blanket.

the new mom to be picked out a baby set that has a monkey on green grass. (so my colors are brown and green)

not what you would think for a baby...but, i found some wild / 60's brown fabric w/ lots of flowers on it, and was able to pull in the green, blue, pink, yellow, orange, etc.

it is VERY BRIGHT...maybe the baby will listen to jimmy hendrix?

i bought extra to make a pillow for my couch..

then, i will finish a queen size quilt top that i started last summer. i just need to make the borders and sew some blocks together, and it will be ready to be quilted.

(i pay to have the quilt store actually do my quilting via machine)

Lately I've been doing dishcloths. Lots and lots of dishcloths. I give them away often, plus we use them a lot too. I have a bag full in my closet already made and just keep adding to it.

It's all I can handle at the moment...I've got too many irons in the fire in other parts of my life to do too many other crafty things right now (boohoo).

just finished a quilt (my 1st). i think next will be some potholders for my kitchen , then a quilt for my niece (because I already have a top, pieced by my grandmother), then some lap quilts for the boys, & something, maybe a wall-hanger or table runner for my mom. I wish I could remember how to crochet some potholders, but it's been so many years I can't remember! My veggie garden is not producing very well this year, so that leaves a little more time for craft projects.

I'm knitting a baby blanket for my nephew. His baptism is in November. I'm almost done and will be giving it as a baptism gift.

I'm making a baby blanket for a coworker. Need to get it done because she's afraid she'll go early.
