Default Dean Martin

was a good looking guy, had a lovely singing voice and could dance, but the man could NOT act! I just watched "Ringing Bells" or maybe it was Bells Ringing with Judy Holliday. Man, was he bad! I love old movies, particularly musicals and this was just hard to finish, to be honest.

He was in a movie with John Wayne that he was pretty good in. It was an ensemble cast. He wasn't good enough to carry a movie as the lead, though.

Fun put true fact: 1976 Olympic Gold Medalist, Dorothy Hamill, was married to his son, Dean Paul Martin, at one time. Can you imagine having Dean Martin as your FIL?

He was much more a singer than an actor. He was part of the "Rat Pack."

He played the stright man in a lot of Jerry Lewis movies. He had a wonderful singing voice though.

And Linda, that would be a bit strange to have Dean Martin as your fil! I wonder if he sang for their wedding? I have seen him in several movies but never as the leading man so maybe that is why I didn't notice the lack of acting skills.
